Who enforces overgrowth rules? Inside city limits, the city's code enforcement office does. In unincorporated areas, Pinellas County does. Some addresses that say "Seminole" or "Largo" are actually unincorporated — your notice (or the Property Appraiser record) tells you which. Your notice also lists the rule and the deadline.
St. Petersburg
Our home base. St. Pete has everything from alley-access infill lots in older neighborhoods to larger vacant parcels. Tight lots mean slow, careful work around fences, cars and neighboring homes.

Pinellas Park
A mix of residential streets, commercial corridors and some larger lots where a push mower or small lawn service isn't practical once growth gets ahead.

Clearwater
Vacant residential lots, larger parcels and overgrown back lots. Under Florida law, local code inspectors generally can't open a case from an anonymous complaint unless there's an imminent threat to health or safety — but inspectors can and do spot violations on their own.

Largo
Vacant parcels and overgrown residential lots, including some in unincorporated pockets around the city. Check your notice to see whether the city or the county sent it.

Seminole
Many properties with a Seminole mailing address are outside the city limits and fall under Pinellas County rules instead of the City of Seminole's.

Bardmoor
Bardmoor is unincorporated, so overgrown-lot rules come from Pinellas County. Undeveloped parcels and drainage edges here can be soft in the wet season — we look at access before bringing the tractor in.

St. Pete Beach
Beach lots are often tight, with sandy ground and limited room to unload a trailer. Tell us about parking and access when you request a quote.

Treasure Island
Vacant lots here are valuable, and keeping them mowed keeps them presentable for buyers and neighbors. Access and trailer parking are the main planning issues.
